Over this weekend you will produce beautiful jewellery to take home. .Jan will lead you in an exploration of glorious threads or stunning enamelled wire to make bracelets, earrings or necklaces. There is no need to be able to make lace before this weekend as all skills needed will be taught on the course. Jan will bring with her a selection of popular designs to suit all skill levels.

Feltmaking: Delicate Scarves from Felt and Fabric


Students will need basic feltmaking skills for this course. During this course we will work with combinations of Silk, scrim, muslin and fine Merino wool. A set of sample will be made to help understand how the materials react with each other. Then a series of beautiful scarves will be made depending on the speed and skill of each individual.

A basic pack will be required for the sample stage which can be purchased from the tutor. Further materials will also be available for making the scarves.
